Are you a Sheep or Shepherd? | Imperial College London

ARE YOU A SHEEP OR A SHEPHERD?

One evening. £100 cash prize. An exclusive unreleased book. And a conversation that might genuinely change how you think about your life.

Most people like to believe they think for themselves.

But how much of what you believe, want, pursue and become has actually been chosen by you?

Your feed is shaping you.
Your friends are shaping you.
Culture is shaping you.
Algorithms are shaping you.

So who is actually in control?

On Thursday 8 October, join Dr Andreas Tzortzis at Imperial College London for a highly interactive evening exploring independent thought, leadership, purpose and what it means to stop simply moving with the crowd.

This is not another generic motivational talk.

Expect uncomfortable questions, live discussion, practical ideas and a completely different way of thinking about influence, identity and leadership.

You’ll explore:

• Why intelligent people still follow the crowd
• How your environment quietly shapes your decisions
• How to think independently without becoming contrarian
• Why leadership starts long before you have a title
• How to build conviction, direction and intellectual confidence
• What separates people who are shaped by the world from those who help shape it

And there’s more.

💷 ONE ATTENDEE WILL WIN £100 CASH

Yes, genuinely.

Someone in the room will leave the evening £100 richer.

📕 EVERY ATTENDEE RECEIVES AN EXCLUSIVE BOOK

You’ll receive your own copy of First Principles, an unreleased publication by Dr Andreas Tzortzis, created to take the ideas from the evening even further.

🌍 OPEN TO EVERYONE

Muslim or non-Muslim. Imperial student or otherwise.

If you’re curious, ambitious, questioning, figuring out where you’re heading, or simply tired of surface-level conversations, this evening is for you.

The Sheep or Shepherd? Tour is travelling across universities around the UK, bringing together students who want to think more deeply, lead more intentionally and become harder to simply influence.
