On Saturday 29th August, Medology is heading to Scafell Pike - England’s highest mountain - for a day built around challenge, growth, community and perspective.

This is not just a hike.

It is a chance to get away from the noise, step outside the usual routine, and spend the day with ambitious, grounded, like-minded people from across the Medology community.

Dr Masood Ahmed will be joining us, alongside many others from the Medology team, healthcare community and future healthcare leaders network.

Please note: participants must arrange their own travel to and from the meeting point. We will meet directly at Wasdale Head Car Park before beginning the expedition together.

This will be a respectful, family-friendly expedition. While we will be taking part as one Medology group, we will maintain appropriate male and female boundaries throughout the day, with consideration for walking groups, rest breaks and general comfort.

You do not need to be a mountaineer.

You do need to be reasonably fit, prepared, and ready to take on a serious but rewarding challenge.

⚠️ Important information

Scafell Pike is a genuine mountain challenge. The route includes uneven ground, steep sections and weather that can change quickly.

All participants must come prepared with suitable footwear, waterproof clothing, warm layers, water, and any personal essentials.

Travel, parking and accommodation are not included. Participants are responsible for getting themselves to and from the meeting point.

Spaces are limited so we can keep the group safe, organised and high-quality.
